Content Review Policy

This Content Review Policy defines the standards and procedures for reviewing content published on the official website of the ICAR-National Institute of Veterinary Epidemiology and Disease Informatics (ICAR-NIVEDI). The objective is to ensure the website maintains up-to-date, accurate, relevant, and high-quality information in compliance with Government of India guidelines.

1. Objective

To establish a systematic process for regular and consistent review of website content to ensure accuracy, completeness, and currency.

2. Scope

This policy applies to all pages, documents, reports, images, multimedia, and downloadable files hosted on the ICAR-NIVEDI website.

3. Content Review Cycle

Content will be reviewed on a quarterly basis (every three months).
Time-sensitive content such as circulars, tenders, and announcements will be reviewed weekly or based on expiry timelines.
Static content (e.g., About Us, Contact Details) will be reviewed annually or as required.

4. Review Responsibility

Web Information Manager (WIM) coordinates the review process and compiles reports.
Content Owners (individuals or departments) are responsible for reviewing and updating content under their domain.
Final approval of reviewed content rests with the Director/Head of the Institute or designated authority.

5. Review Process

Outdated or inaccurate content will be updated, archived, or deleted as per the Content Archival Policy.
A review log will be maintained with dates, review comments, and status (Updated / Archived / Deleted).
Broken links, grammatical errors, and formatting issues will be corrected promptly during review.

6. User Feedback

User feedback is encouraged and will be taken into account during content reviews. Visitors can report outdated or incorrect content through the contact page.

7. Policy Review

This policy will be reviewed annually or as necessary to remain compliant with the evolving needs of ICAR-NIVEDI and Government of India web policies.
